Online grocery in Sweden stabilising around 4,5%

Online grocery market in Sweden seems to be getting back to a normal seasonal pattern. Despite the heavily fluctuating comparison months from 2021, online remained on a rather high level during spring.

The online market is still declining with double digit figures from the year before. During summer the comparison numbers from the pandemic should start ease up making the growth figures also more relevant.

Despite the decline to last year, the 4,5% of revenue from online is more than the pre-pandemic levels. Home delivery is also taking back it’s share as the dominant online grocery method. In May 55,6% of all online orders were delivered to customers.
